I am a long-time Western Montana nurse and healthcare leader with a background in mental health and psychology. With today’s increasing caregiving challenges, I help organizations strengthen caregiver resilience and improve patient care.
True success begins at the bedside, but difficult interactions can leave caregivers—and their leaders—exhausted. Partnering with an expert in human behavior may be exactly what your organization needs.
· ✅ Practical strategies to manage challenging behaviors
· ✅ Collaborative, respectful practices that honor patient rights
· ✅ Genuine empathy to promote healing
· ✅ Tools to maintain dignity for both caregivers and patients
· ✅ Renewed sense of purpose and appreciation for elder care
· ✅ Emotional support to reduce stress and turnover
· 📉 Fewer staff & resident grievances
· 📉 Reduced turnover within six months
· 📉 Less caregiver-to-caregiver conflict
· 📉 Reduced risk of state investigations & costly litigation
Think of me as your dedicated staff coach & educator—committed to your team’s success and well-being.
I provide weekly or bi-weekly interactive classes with:
· - Real-life scenarios & role-play
· - Practical, hands-on strategies
· - Tools for positive interactions in difficult moments
· - A supportive environment where caregivers feel heard & valued
I am finishing up my practicum in Transformative Nurse Coaching. I possess extensive experience working with individuals experiencing psychosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and dementia. My skills in empathy and verbal de-escalation have always kept myself and my patients safe. As a compliance officer and legal nurse consultant, I know how to navigate the fine lines between patient rights and caregiver safety.
🌟 An optional bonus:
I collaborate with local wellness coach, Jennifer Shepherd, of Jenn’s Whole Health Coaching, LLC. Jen offers in-depth group coaching and mindfulness strategies for caregivers to improve workplace satisfaction, create positive culture, and reduce burn-out. The program she has created is eligible for Continued Education Credits through Montana Nurses Association. Her program was developed out of Standford University and as the name suggests is a Culture Catalyst for your organization.
Please reach out for more information, my calendar is filling up fast. We can custom tailor a course for your organization’s size, budget, and needs.
